The quakes from the Great Kaatyclyzym finally end. People begin to relax, settle down and build communities. Most communities devote themselves to farming, though each person would have other jobs in the community, during sowing and harvesting seasons the entirety of the community would join in the work. As each individual needed food and shelter, communities worked together to ensure all needs were met and all contributed to the community.
As the years went on, and it became easier to provide food and shelter, more industries were created, including mining metals.
During this time also, the lost abilities of magic-use were rediscovered and began to be studied. Many who discovered they had abilities beyond normal people, joined together to create the Order of the Golden Goat.
The calendar was maintained by the descendants of Brraan Marrowwen, though few events during the Kaatyclyzm were recorded. The world did not return to the BM Calendar for two years. Though some chose to start a new year count, official records maintain the old numbering. The new year numbers are the After (Akaeek) Great Kaatyclyzym (AGK) and begin the Rennaissance at year AGK 3. The AGK numbering system is used primarily by the Kaya.

- Worther Family Generational Diary comes forward with record of days during the Great Kaatyclyzym and accurate BM year count. Over a few years, the AGK calendar that began to be used around the world was superseded by the traditionalists that wanted to forget the GK. The old Calendar Wars returned as a cold war with few battles worse than bar fights, but it is ongoing.
