Description

With sand deserts on three sides and the Darlyn Aurut for a coast, this dry grassland is more densely populated than it's desert neighbors, but the impassability of the Alroseddek Aurut leaves the only ways in and out of Darlnan to be through the deserts.

It is a harsh land with tough people that have decided to retire. Darlnan has become the retirement center of the daruvial deserts of Væensal. While the vast majority of citizens of Darlnan are elderly, there is a large youth and middle-aged demographic that most work in fishing and agriculture providing for the elderly and each other.

The hot desert air of this area of Væensal evaporate the Darlyn Aurut to generate rain in the shaddow of the Darln Mountain Range along the tevdarial boarders of Darlnan. Although it is not much rain, it is more than the surrounding areas, and enough to provide some plant coverage on the ground.

Darlnan is not part of the Roal Alliance and remains a neutral region where all religions are allowed and practiced relatively quietly and respectfully towards each other.

Trade agreements exist between Darlnan and Arenia across the Darlyn Aurut.

Primary Races

The largest racial demographic in Darlnan is the Valswynn, most of whom came from the surrounding deserts. With Tasmuriann Humons as the second largest.

Minorities

There are more Hobbot in Darlnan than in the neighboring nations, but the numbers are still fewer than 10,000 inhabiting all of Darlnan. Most of these hobb live inland in the higher hills along the lakes of the central river.

Various Chyas races are also represented in Darlnan.
