The Chyas~Penguin are a vane people obsessed with decorative clothing and homes. Metals, gems, and stones are highly sought out, and occasionally fought over in the wilds before claim is made. Once something is claimed, no one steals it; theft is highly condemned. Trade and gifts are commonplace.

However, there is an organization of pirate penguins which has been terrorizing individuals and small groups on the roads, taking what has been claimed after murdering the travelers.
