Discovered in 2659BM, by Mabyss Highpanther, one of the Caitian Wildlings, the Great Marchessies of the Swan is one of the oldest and most historical artifacts ever discovered, and one of the most mysterious. Of the few records and architecture that have survived from before the Great Kaatyclyzym, the Swan was a prevalent aspect of society. But the full meaning of it is lost.

The marchess of the swan has stood throughout history as the symbol for peace and nobility. The currency of Avel, Dragwans, uses a hexagonal variation of the Swan Marchessies, and a dragon marchess on the reverse, according to the coins value.

Despite the Great Swan Marchessies becoming one of the great pilgrimages, and an almost constant Vigil kept, it was lost without a trace in 3814BM.
