The Olmes Lines
A line of rocks beginning at Point Olmesome, which run the borders of what became Olmaia, Oiskal, Olvatica, Cesesica, the southern border of Eulisar, Olmaea and Olmeos. These nations were joined in 2421.
Legend tells us that there is a passage to the Uun, though no passage has been found amongst the rocks just off the mainland. Legend says this passage was how Urul Morlton Olmes, Retrik's grandfather, came to the surface in 267. Whether legend is true, or not, Morlton conquered Krolntro'ru, which is now Olmaia, Oiskal, Olvatica, Cessica, Olmaea, and Olmeos, in 269, and began an oppressive rule. When it was Retrik's turn to rule, he took pity on the people and renounced the hold the Urul of Uun held on Krolntro'ru to return to the Uun. In the ensuing wars that broke out over how land should be divided and run were devastating to the population, even more so than Morlton's murderous rampages. Each race that lived within Krolntro'ru blamed the others for the nearly 100 years of enslavement. Retrik returned to the surface and managed to negotiate a peace and borders, though it cost him his life. The monument and border walls were erected in his honor, and took three years to complete.
The borders stood for more than 2000 years, until 2387, when Olvatica's Verran (ruler), Attai Olvat, gave all of Olvatica--all that is east of the Kroln Aurio and south of the Olmes Line--to Oiskal, in exchange for the daughter of the Merran Therlora Veras, Taimore, who murdered her husband in 2413. In 2415 she began a campaign to unite all of Olmes, and succeeded in 2421.
