Raain Beau

Raain Beau, and her brother, like any other children in the region were orphaned at a young age and raised in the Mayhart Sanctuary, where education and martial skills were emphasized.

While her brother sought out stories of adventure and eventually left to create his own stories, Raain chose a quieter life near to her family home, in the Aurie View Lodge, where her parents had worked, where she was born.

Among her age, most girls had been captured by the hhorq raid that killed the Beau parents, and so she was raised mostly around boys. She became competitive, and focused heavily on martial study while admiring history from afar. She quickly became the most agile and strong monk at the Sanctuary, usually gaining championship rankings in any physical competition. Her fighting style as graceful as a dance, she weaves around her opponent pummeling them faster and harder than nearly anyone she has met could withstand. However, she rarely uses weapons or armor, as they slow her down; she relies on speed as well as strength and agility for victory.

The raid which took the lives of their parents and many others in the community was also the first battle in which Griegg had taken up arms as a young teenager. He defended the younger children, and though wasn't able to save all in his care, he did save Raain, her brother, Fredrick, and Tedd. It was this rescue that led to Raain's lifelong secret crush on Griegg.
