The Ndourin thrived during the Dark Ages when the planet was frozen, they prefer the cold, unlike the Valswyn. Ndourin have blue skin and blue blood, with blue to white hair. Their bodies are covered in a thin exoskeleton with a ribbed joint shell which acts as insulation from the cold, instead of an extra layer of fat.

Living high in the snow-capped mountains, and at the frozen poles, the Ndourin rarely venture out of the snows. The Ndourin are an isolated peoples, not taking kindly to outsiders traveling through their lands. The Ndourin had their height of civilization during the Ice age, and were angered to share their world during the melt and emergence. They took captives of any that came to the surface and held them as slaves, working the warming lands that the Ndourin could not survive in. Using Hhorq as enforcers, and eventually allying with the Valswynn as management, the Ndourin maintained rulership over much of the world. Though that power slowly dwindled as the world warmed in its cycle towards the galaxy Illek resides above. When two meteors struck Væensal, and the plague began, followed by the workers' revolt, the Ndourin became reclusive. Little is revealed, or known about the Ndourin during the Ice Age, except that they warred with each other and against wild beasts, the likes of which haven't been seen since... Of the modern day, since the Kaatyclyzym, the Ndourin can be found in Rokoc, D'Urlintait, Kouvos'Gol, Ocread, Ocrmad, Loutroal, but mostly at the polar ice caps.
