Trail of No Tears

A strip of desert on the east side of Væensal, it covers most of Odat'Tass. The desolate track is very difficult to cross, very hot and dry. Magic doesn't work, casters feel empty inside, the religious feel lost.
There is a legend of a magic user, having lost a loved one to a monster, and going berserk, he ripped strips of land dead with his spells. The land was so damaged by the spells that it forever refuses to allow magic to be used.
