Taulav Forest
- Forest is dying
- River flowing through forest is cursed
- River leads out of the forest, through the valley, and down to the Old Lake
- on road out of town, they pass several other travelers.
- one traveler is the Train Man
- trestles appear a foot off the ground and fall, then tracks appear, then a gnome, or hobb, riding a steam train rolls down the track, then the tracks disappear and then the trestles lift out of the ground and vanish, leaving no trace.
- ...no trace, except blood drops...
- Train Man stops to talk to the group
- Firstly intends to address Arun
- Arun gives him a quick look that tells him not to treat him with full Honors (as he should know that Arun is in exile, and in secret)
- Addresses Turvin about his cleaning up of the corpses left behind by Turvin
- States that it's his Honor-bound Duty to clean up corpses left by a Landless
- Addresses Raain about post-mortem requirements for the hhorq bodies he's transporting out of the Forest
- Firstly intends to address Arun
