Prince Eluthiel ventures out of the elven world and into the humon world, revealing that the legendary valswyn still existed after having been hidden since before the Kaatyclyzym, for more than 1500 years.
The elves went into seclusion during the GK, deciding to stick to their own kind. This isolationism continued after the quakes stopped. Any intruders were killed or had their minds wiped.
