A strip of desert on the east side of Væensal, it covers most of Odat'tass. The desolate track is very difficult to cross, very hot and dry. Magic doesn't work, casters feel empty inside, the religious feel lost.
There is a legend of a magic user going berserk and wiping strips of land dead, but more than just the land, he stripped the area of all connection to the magical and life sources.
