Uun

The Uun is the underground, and is divided up into the five continents, and then divided into Webs within various areas within the continents. These Webs are vast networks of tunnels delving deep into the mountains and deep into the depths of the world. Many of the tunnels are unmapped and unexplored, with many cave-ins blocking tunnels that lead even deeper.

Many races have called the Uun their home for thousands of years, even throughout the Great Kaatyclyzym, there were vast civilizations trying to keep the tunnels from collapsing. During the Ice Age, most races dwelt in the Uun, where it was warmer, but as the ice melted many of the tunnels began to flood forcing many to surface. This Emergence lead to many wars and enslavement on the surface. Despite that history having ended prior to the GK, many of the Uun dwellers still hold a dislike for Avel dwellers due to that history.

Although most races can be found in various Webs, the most common are Gar, Hhorq, Dempu, Illien, and the Ndourin. Subraces of Humons and Valswyn called Uundine also dwell in the Uun.

Though most of the Uun is in deep tunnels, there are many cities built on top of old cave-ins. Giant holes the Avel, with an open-air Uun city in the depths. These are the Avuun cities.
