The Dempu, like the Chyas, is not one race, but a group of races fitting a particular set of characteristics. While the Chyas are humanoid animals, the Dempu's mutations are less friendly: tentacles, boils, extra limbs, extra heads, flammable slime dripping like sweat from its crusty cracked shell...and various variations of the sort.
Dempu are typically only found deep in the undeveloped Uun tunnels, but there are a few Avel locations where they surface to attack.
