The Gar are comparable to Dwarves. There are two subraces of Gar, the Avgar and Deurgar, those who live on or near the Avel and those who dwell in deep caves of the Uun.
The Gar are excellent engineers, the Gear Cities are designed and built by the Gar, although Gar cities are rarely geared and few Gar live in Geared cities, except those that work on the gears.
