Description

Just a few hundred years ago, Melarnis was a mountain region over a sea of islands, until a storm closed off the sea causing the waters surrounding the islands to dry up, and thus the land of Melarnis was expanded dramatically. Although the new land is still moist and difficult to build upon. An attempt was made to restore the avaur, but the resulting flood was larger than expected and whipped out several communities that had been along the island coasts, and the mainland's coast. The attempt was undone and abandoned, and thus the land is drying from it's centuries of being underwater.
