The Gar are comparable to Dwarves. There are three subraces of Gar, the Avgar, Uungar and Aurgar, those who live on or near the Avel, those who dwell in deep caves of the Uun, and the magically created Aurgar that live mostly under water or on boats and rarely touch dry land.
The Gar are excellent engineers, the Gear Cities are designed and built by the Gar, although Gar cities are rarely geared and few Gar live in Geared cities, except those that work on the gears.
Most Gar prefer to use the AGK Calendar as it represents how many years since they've been able to return to their mines.
The Eight Gar Rranaria
There are Eight large Rranaria in the world which are for the Gar.
