The Landless, often called Adventurers, are a privileged group that has earned the Legal Rights to cross any borders, though not always without resistance.

To join the Landless, one must be initiated after two years of specialized schooling in which the initiate will study geography, history, plant and animal biology, geology, and survival techniques.

In most places, The Landless are welcomed into a community, they are given a place to stay and food to eat, at no cost. This lack of payment for providing services to the Landless causes some to despise the Landless and are often much less welcoming. Legal consequences for not serving the Landless can be severe but are often not enforced due to community-wide detest, therefore Enforcers don't always enforce the service requirements.
